A new report from Cloudera, the only true hybrid platform for data analytics and AI, has found that close to 90% of enterprises are using AI, but many are struggling with outdated infrastructure and an employee skills gap.

The report, which is based on a survey of 600 IT leaders located in the US, EMEA, and APAC regions, found that:

• 90% of enterprises use AI in some form, but only 14% have fully deployed AI across the enterprise.
• 70% of enterprises are struggling to keep up with the demands of AI on their existing infrastructure.
• 50% of enterprises are facing an employee skills gap in AI.

The findings of the report suggest that enterprises need to invest in modernizing their infrastructure and upskilling their employees in order to fully capitalize on the benefits of AI.
