TJ Watt Wins AFC Defensive Player of the Year
His third time winning the award
Watt (28) has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Year three times, tying him with Hall of Famers Joe Greene (1972, 1974, 1979) and Jack Lambert (1972, 1974, 1976) for the most honors in Steelers franchise history.
Watt is a finalist for Defensive Player of the Year
Watt is one of three finalists for the NFL's 2023 Defensive Player, along with Nick Bosa of the San Francisco 49ers and Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys. The winner of the Associated Press NFL Defensive Player of the Year will be revealed at NFL Honors on Thursday, Feb. 9.
