BOSTON (March 8, 2022) - The Boston Celtics have suffered a major blow, with wing Aaron Nesmith going down with an ankle sprain that will keep him out for at least several games. The injury occurred during Thursday's game against the Indiana Pacers.

Nesmith is not the only Celtic wing nursing an ankle sprain. Aaron Nesmith also suffered an ankle injury in a previous game and is expected to miss several more games.

The Celtics are set to embark on a four-game road trip, starting with a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday. Without Nesmith and Nesmith in the lineup, the Celtics will be short-handed in their quest to remain in the playoff picture.
